Lab tests

A lab test is the group chipping in to send one sample to a lab and sharing the result. Tally runs it from one post in your group, the same way it runs a buy.

For members

Section titled “For members”
  1. Join. Tap ✅ Join on the test post while it’s open. If you can supply the sample, tap the donor button; donors pay a share unless the organizer turns that off with /donorfree.
  2. Fund. When the organizer starts funding, you get a DM with your exact share and a wallet address. Shares end in unique cents so payments match to people. Pay, tap 📤 I paid, and reply with the transaction id or a screenshot.
  3. Wait. The organizer confirms payments, sends the sample, and the post moves through each stage.
  4. Results. The result card posts in the group, with the lab link or photos and a thanks list of who chipped in. /results <query> searches everything published. /anon <test number> keeps your name off the thanks list.

For organizers

Section titled “For organizers”
  1. Propose. Run /propose in the group. Tally DMs you a short form: item, vendor, strength, lab, estimated cost, minimum participants, whether you have the vial on hand, and split cost or fixed fee. A confirm card posts it; admin proposals go straight to Open.
  2. Approve. An admin taps ✅ Approve on a member’s proposal. The post goes live and people join.
  3. Fund. Tap 🚀 Start funding when there are enough people. Tally freezes shares, DMs everyone their amount, and reminds anyone who hasn’t paid every 48 hours. Claims arrive in your DM with ✅ Confirm and ❌ Reject. /manage <number> is the panel for everything, including dropping someone who never pays.
  4. Send. Tap 📦 Mark sent once the sample is on its way to the lab.
  5. Publish. Run /result <test number>, send the lab link or photos, reply done. The card posts in the group and, if you’ve linked one with /setresults, mirrors to a public results channel.

Wallets

Section titled “Wallets”

/addwallet walks you through adding a payout wallet for the group; /wallets lists them. Tally never holds funds: people pay your wallet, you confirm, you pay the lab.
